We are a leading heavy civil construction company that specializes in the building and
reconstruction of transportation and water infrastructure in large and growing markets. Our construction
business is undertaken by our subsidiaries, Texas Sterling Construction Co, ('TSC"), Road and Highway Builders,
LLC ("RHB") and Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction Company, LLC ("RLW") in Texas, Nevada and Utah, respectively.
In December 2009, we added significant experience in the "design-build" and "CM/GC" (construction manager/general
contractor) delivery methods to our service portfolio when we acquired RLW.
Our transportation infrastructure projects include highways, roads, bridges and light and commuter rail. Water
infrastructure projects include water, wastewater and storm drainage systems. We provide general contracting
services including excavating, concrete and asphalt paving, pipe and rail installation, construction of bridges
and similar large structures, concrete and asphalt batch plant operations, concrete crushing and aggregates
operations, primarily to public sector clients. We perform the majority of our work utilizing our own employees
and equipment.
Since the founding of our construction business in 1955, we have expanded our service profile and market areas.
We currently have offices in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Austin, Texas; Reno and Las Vegas,
Nevada; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
